Yirgacheffe

Yirgacheffe is a small but legendary micro-region within Sidamo, yet its coffee is so distinct it's considered its own origin. It is widely regarded as the crown jewel of Ethiopian coffee. Yirgacheffe beans, typically grown by smallholder farmers in cooperatives, are known for their clean, bright, and floral profile, with an almost tea-like delicacy. The flavor notes are often described as citrus, jasmine, and lemongrass, making it one of the most sought-after coffees in the world.
