Jimma Abba Jifar Palace

The 'Gebeta LeHager' initiative also includes the preservation of vital cultural heritage, such as the restoration of the Abba Jifar Palace in Jimma. This project aims to conserve the historic wooden palace, the last of its kind, and develop it into a museum and cultural center. It will showcase the rich history of the Kingdom of Jimma and Oromo culture, creating a new destination for cultural tourism.
